| Sumario: | In general terms, my proposal will be to think of contemporany artistic production as the event itself, singular in its sensitive materiality, and not as a statement of recognition about something that precedes it. Thus, my intention will be to think of the works of Gisela Motta and Leandro Lima as enunciable materials that constitute their own reality and that can function as a provocative device to fertilize some questions that disturb the historian in contemporary times, especially with regard to the categories of time and temporalities, as well as the impasses between language and experience, presence and absence. |
