Descripción
Sumario:Early childhood can be understood as the main phase of a subject's life and ruptures in care affect development. This article proposes to expose the profiles of babies and children up to six years old, welcomed in a public institution that acts as a temporary shelter, in Araguaína-TO. Affiliated to psychoanalysis, parenting was conceptualized to then outline a picture of the rupture of the experienced bond. The analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistics of two types of documents: (i) Entrance Control for Residents and, (ii) Reception Forms, between the years 2008 to 2021, totaling 352 children. As a result, it was possible to identify the incidence of age, reasons for hosting, family configuration, among other factors. The delineation of the profile of relationships allows thinking about appropriate policies for this public, in order to prevent and mitigate damage to childhood.
