Descrição
Resumo:The traditional far-right forces had planned the 2019 European Parliament elections around the electoral coalition ADÑ – Falange Española de las JONS, FE-La Falange, Alternativa Española and Democracia Nacional – topresent a common Eurosceptic programme, taking advantage of the votes of the four formations. However, in 2018 VOX burst in as a unifying element of the more conservative protest vote and managed to eliminate the projection of that coalition. In this text, focusing on their programmatic ideas, we will analyse the similarities between these formations in order to establish the direct relationship between the virtual disappearance of the radical extreme right and the rise of Santiago Abascal’s political party.
