| Resumo: | This note shows the discussion on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights since its adoption in 1948, questioning its effectiveness in the struggle for rights and acknowledging its failures on the equality between the individuals. In this way, the deletions hidden behind a so-called “universality” are highlighted, claiming first, the need of debating for dignity – a concept that becomes inseparable from what is in fact understood by Rights. |
