| Resumo: | The objective of this research was to identify which skills are considered most important for the development of the professional actuary in Brazil, given its importance for the economicfinancial sector, its multidisciplinary knowledge base and society's lack of information about this profession. Thus, a survey was carried out aimed at professionals in the actuarial field in Brazil. The skills analyzed were classified as behavioral, analytical, systems techniques, techniques, logical reasoning, textual or language ability, and technical experience. Data analysis considered information such as age, gender, academic background, region of education and salary range. As a result, it was found that behavioral skills are considered the most important, from the perspective of actuaries, for their professional development. |
