Descrição
Resumo:One of the main dilemmas of contemporaneity is still to equate historical and sociocultural phenomena arising from a time frame that extends from the beginnings of the colonization process to the current (post/neo)colonial moment and that took place in vast and different spatialities. This essay analyzes some factors that contribute to the profusion of hybrid cultural collectives and the main concepts that try to explain the (trans)formation of cultures and the power relations and subjects involved. A polyphonic dialogue is established between some of the main (post/neo)colonial theorists who have significantly contributed to rescue, amplify and propagate the voice of (post/neo)colonial subjects. It wil be seen the importance of recognizing the uniqueness of each colonial contact and its respective specificities, of recovering voices and respective experiences that still urgently need to be heard after centuries of capitulation.
