Descripción
Sumario:This article aims to describe the main contributions of Leonor Lopes Fávero to linguistic studies in Brazil, especially to text linguistics. For this purpose, a time frame was established from 1980 to 1986, which roughly covers the first phase of Brazilian text linguistics described by Koch (1999). The analysis perspective chosen was based on linguistic historiography (KOERNER, 1996; SWIGGERS, 2012). The selected corpus included articles, congressional yearbooks, books, and book chapters. The epihistoriographic components used were the studies of Bentes (2001), Fávero (2017, 2019, 2021), Galembeck (2015), and Koch (1997, 1999, 2003). The results of the analysis showed the relevance of the author for the period in question, both for the introduction and for the development of text linguistics in Brazil.
