Sumario:Many Brazilians who are still well do not talk about their end-of-life care preferences and priorities with their family members and doctors. This study aimed to describe the experience of talking with older people (≥60 years old) living in the city of Belo Horizonte about preferences and priorities for end-of-life care. It has been observed that talking about end-of-life care preferences is not a common subject for the participants, so it is a topic that requires careful considerations.
