Resumo:The proposal of studying the covering the pictures of the journal that on the "Revolt of the Sergeants from Brasília" (12/09/1963) it accomplished the Correio Braziliense it allows a wide spectrum of reflections. I considered from the perspective of use of sources pictures (in the case, press pictures) for the historical investigation until the subjects linked tothe discussion of the citizenship linked to the referred event (and to the military political mobilization of the subordinate ones), going by the relationships of power in the press and in the society, particularly in the conjuncture of the beginning of the years 1960 in Brazil.
