| Sumario: | The segmental duration is, in many natural languages, a phonetic parameter that contributes to the distinction between voiced and voicelles consonants (KENT; READ, 2002). In if treating of fricatives, Kent and Read (2002) affirm that the duration of the noise fricative is an important parameter for the perception of the contrast between voiced and voicelles fricatives. Like this, in this study it is aimed at to verify, starting from the reduction and amplification of the duration of the noise fricative, which the influence of the segmental duration for the perception of voiced and voicelles fricatives. |
