Sumario:The tree species Casuarina equisetifolia L. has been studied for its attributes, and for its invading and threatening potential to native species. In this context, a survey of articles related to this species was carried out through the systematic review methodology. The objective of this study was to evaluate the quantity and quality of articles related to C. equisetifolia L., explaining its academic relevance through the Qualis Capes and the Journal Citation Reports evaluations, to help in choosing the most appropriate method for the control of casuarina in the Costa do Sol State Park. It was verified that most of the publications were realized in journals of great national scientific scope.
