El corredor delantero de la finca de Santa Anita se constituye en un umbral temporal que enloquece el tiempo; y en esa transición la abuela y Bruja acompañan al narrador para negar la muerte y refutar el tiempo. El corredor genera la ilusión de refutar lo imposible, y al mismo tiempo, pone en evidencia su imposibilidad.In this paper, I would like to analyse El río del tiempo by Fernando Vallejo from the following hypothesis: time in self writing narrative becomes enigmatic until it turns into an edge where souvenirs come and go. Vallejo makes edges that get him out of time, out of any possible representation. These passages provoke the desbarrancadero de los recuerdos, allow the entrance of fiction in a self writing narrative and make the self becomes impersonal. The space, as a place of memory, becomes a temporal edge, and the front door corridor of Santa Anita´s house controls the writing of souvenirs.Fil: Musitano, Julia. Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
