Sumario:Leotia lubrica (Scop.) Pers. (Leotiaceae, Leotiales, Leotiomycetes, Ascomycota) was recorded for the first time from Argentina in Lago Puelo National Park, Chubut Province. Previously cited from the native forest in Chile, Los Lagos Region in southern South America, the species showed a distribution in temperate regions around the world.
