Erratum: Signals of strong electronic correlation in ion scattering processes [Phys. Rev. B 93, 195439 (2016)]
We found an error in the mathematical formulation of the finite-U model [19] that we used in our paper to describe the neutral fractions measured when Sr+ ions collide with a gold surface [4,5]. The error is connected to boundary conditions, such as the following one: (Formula Presented) where the c...

| Sumario: | We found an error in the mathematical formulation of the finite-U model [19] that we used in our paper to describe the neutral fractions measured when Sr+ ions collide with a gold surface [4,5]. The error is connected to boundary conditions, such as the following one: (Formula Presented) where the correct minus sign was dismissed. This correction introduces changes of sign in the integral terms (Formula Presented) The above-described amendment of the finite-U model introduces slight modifications in Figs. 6(c) and 7 of the published paper. These figures should be replaced by the figures below. |
