Sumario:Background and aims: Azorelloideae is one of the four monophyletic subfamilies of Apiaceae and currently comprises 17 genera. In the context of the revision of the subfamily Azorelloideae (Apiaceae) for the Flora of Argentina project, 15 names belonging to Asteriscium, Bolax, Bowlesia, Diposis and Pozoa were found to need typifications. M&M: To resolve typifications, all protologues and the original material of all names were studied, and decisions were made following the International Code of Nomenclature for Algae, Fungi and Plants, and based on our expertise on the taxonomy of the group. Results & Conclusions: 14 lectotypes and one neotype are designated, and justifications are given for each selection. As a result, a permanent reference specimen has been selected for all names of Azorelloideae included in Flora Argentina, which is an essential step for the correct identification of species.
