Peces subterráneos de Sudamérica

En el mundo acuático subterráneo, en todos los continentes menos la Antártida, se ha descubierto que viven peces, en ríos, lagunas y, notablemente, en las capas freáticas o acuíferos.En Sudamérica solo se sabe hoy de un puñado de especies, una encontrada hace poco en Salta.
