Descripción
Sumario:The aim of this article is to describe the ditransitive constructions in tehuelche or aonek’enk in order to show the alignments that present the patient (P) of the mono‑ transitive clause and the arguments called theme (T) and recipient (R) of the ditran‑ sitive clause. First, we present the tehuelches or aonek’enk, then we examine different types of ditransitive constructions in tehuelche. In third place, we describe the basic structure of the tehuelche language and the different kind of verbs it has, and finally we work on the alignments that present P, T and R in monotransitive and ditransi‑ tive clauses.
