Sumario:The aim of this paper is to describe and to analyse the techno-morphological features of a sample of harpoon heads founded in stratigraphic context at Cueva del Negro site at the northern coast of Santa Cruz Province (Argentina). Those pieces have been elaborated on bone but a fragment on wood has been founded associate to them. Comparative analysis will be performed with bibliographic information about other samples found at continental Patagonia and its presence within the archaeological record from northern coast of Santa Cruz, will be discussed considering those instruments as a product of specialized technology oriented to the hunting of littoral resources.
