| Sumario: | A monochromatic intensity distribution is encoded as modulation of the induced birefringence of a BSO crystal. In the read-out step, white light is employed and the birefringence modulation is transformed into a color modulation of the reconstructed image. The color associated to each point of the image at the output plane depends on both the birefringence modulation and the pass plane orientation of an analyzer. Experimental results are shown. |
