| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is proceed to an analytical review of the concept of “mediatization” with special emphasis on what might be considered a sub-variant, “the mediation of politics”, but considered from the point of view of the cons- titution a problematic field is actually an antecedent instead a derivative. The task that we propose has been performed, within a diverse scope of systematic effort, by other resear- chers. We join, then, a long list, but not to update a state of the art but to trim the theoretical properties of the concept (and therefore, to evaluate their heuristic potential), while we would suggest a distinction of analytical levels which can be useful in guiding future empirical research. |
