Summary:The infrared and ¹¹⁹Sn-Mossbauer spectra of Sn₂PO₄Cl, SnPO₄H, Sn₂PO₄(OH), and Sn₃(PO₄)₂ have been recorded and interpreted in relation to known structural data. The results allow a wider insight into the bond properties of the phosphate groups as well as on the geometry and bond characteristics of the coordination polyhedra associated with the Sn(II) ions.
