Resumo:Behavior patterns for the temperature dependence of column head pressure and outlet volumeteric flow-rate are analyzed for some particular configurations of the chromatograph's flow control system. Quantitative prediction of this behavior, and especially its effect on gas hold up time, is evaluated. Attention is centered on the application of programmed-temperature gas chromatography (PTGC) retention simulation.
