Colombia Node: Red Colombiana de Información Científica –RedCol

Red Colombiana de Información Científica, is the Open Science strategy of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation that seeks to provide the country with a management model that articulates the efforts of the actors of the National System of Science, Technology and Innovation. It is aligned with the National Open Science Policy, promoting access to scientific knowledge and open research data, promoting the use and appropriation of Colombian scientific production and the patrimony of national scientific knowledge.

The institution is the National Node in charge of consolidating and making visible the country's scientific information based on the definition of policies, guidelines and services for access to scientific knowledge; as well as the Colombia Node to participate in information exchange projects, scientific data and Open Science projects of an international nature.
