| Sumario: | Proceeding from empirical data on the rough similarity in the changes of thermal fields in the course of annual and climatic fluctuations, an assumption is made that the changes in the general atmospheric circulation are similar one to another as well. This assumption is backed up by comparing the similarity numbers resulting from a set of equations of fluid and heat dynamics for zonally averaged circulation. The similarity conditions are shown to be maintained. The above assumption is also proved by paleoclimatic reconstructions of the fields of meteorological elements in the course of climatic fluctuations. |
