Resumo:The white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei, is the most crustacean species cultivated in the state of Nayarit and is one of the most affected by gregarines The presence of these parasites is associated with empty intestines or partially empty, coinciding with a low growth rate. In the shrimp farming as a high risk industry, the growth time is fundamental for the success of the crop. For this reason, this paper proposes the description of intestinal infestation by gregarines in white shrimp cultivated in San Blas, Nayarit, which allows taking the necessary measures to avoid economic losses of crop management. The work was carried out in four farms of San Blas, Nayarit. The sampling was carried out during May-August (dry season) and in August-November (rainy season).
