Descripción
Sumario:This thesis consists of studying how massive MIMO and 3D beamforming are modeled by ATOLL and how it analyses the performance of different network designs by applying simulations and predictions of both technologies considering the last capabilities in the 5G NR standard. ATOLL can model these 5G NR networks and technologies by using different parameters like the number of antennas used in transmission and reception, the total number of beams, the users, the transmitting and receiving heights, the different gains, and other parameters further explained. The parameterization of this information will allow, thanks to ATOLL, to study different scenarios, and as a result different capacities, data rates, handled users and traffic load will be obtained.
