This work accomplishes a novel identification of the architectural features of construction 3D printing based on pilot tests, case studies, and digital modelling. Lab scale tests –with microcement and a Kuka R120 robot– have led to the development of different constructive elements. In addition, international models of impress housing are reviewed, in addition to discussing their formal conditions. BIM tridimensional models are also developed based on the registered tests and conditions.
