Sumario:[EN] Victor Hugo was not a painter nor an architect, so the search developed in his drawings was rather conceptual than formal. His drawings seek to go into detail about the creative soul of the artist through the experimentation and the chance; intrusion into the inner world that lies beneath the creative myth. They are reflection of the world in which his literary work is developed, not in a literal but in a symbolic way. Victor Hugo does not draw architecture, he draws the chaos, the exaltation, that sublime. Hugo explores through drawing the spatial universe in which his literary fictions are placed: Architecture as a metaphor for the man who feels small by the vastness, almost metaphysics of the Nature and the Cosmos
