| Sumario: | [EN] Over the past two decades, notions related to the commons have become part of the conceptual and practical baggage of scholars and activists from heterogeneous social and political spaces. This paper traces the theoretical sources of this revival, paying special attention to institutionalist and Marxist contributions to this field. It also analyses three moments of political reappearance of the commons in our time: open knowledge initiatives, anti-austerity movements and political environmentalism. |
