Descrição
Resumo:Localisation in condensed matter physics is one of the pillars of understanding the transport properties of materials, like conductivity in solids. In this thesis, we explore Anderson localisation of a Fermi gas in a 2D disordered media of point-like scatterers, using the propagator's formulation of quantum mechanics. We find the density of localized states and some examples of localized wavefunctions.
