Resumo:The catalogue of amphibians and reptiles from Asia, preserved in the MNNC in December 2000, gathers information of 1242 specimens. They belong to a total of 11 families of amphibians and 18 of reptiles. The oldest specimens predate to1846, since in the handwritten catalogue of the Professor Graells, those was listed as from the "old collection". Most are prior to 1898, when ended the Spanish's influence in the Philippine Islands. To highlight some examples such as the holotype of Ichthyophis bernisi Salvador, 1975; and the topotypes of Megophrys parva (Boulenger, 1893) and Brachytarsophrys carinensis (Boulenger, 1899). It has been revised and updated nomenclature. Has been completed and enriched the geographical and other information attached to the specimens.
