Descripción
Sumario:Currently, the concept of Social Responsibility (SR) is in full swing. Society demands for companies to implement social responsibility policies. Today organizations need to demonstrate to its stakeholders transparency. ethics, integrity and standards of economic, social and environmental sustainability. The companies expect that this compromise, voluntarily adopted, help to increase their profitability. In this context social responsibility indicators that are designed in this model will mean for the logistics and transportation sector a key tool to measure economic, social, environmental and service impacts throughout the life cycle of the company as well as to develop sustainability policies throughout the value chain of the industry. Moreover, the applicability of the model in different organizations can assess their fulfillment through the cards created for each indicator and its alignment with other models of social responsibility indicators currently avaliable.
