Descripción
Sumario:[EN] This paper studies, from a glotopolitical perspective, the paratexts of a group of linguistic works in which Spanish and Basque are contrasted, published during the 19th and early 20th centuries. In particular, we examine, on the one hand, the authors’ position regarding the linguistic policy promoted by the institutions; and, on the other, the configuration of these materials in relation to the evolution of historial events. In this way, we observe how these texts reflect the diverse attitudes and ideological positions with respect to the linguistic situation of the Basque Country, in a period in which important social, economic and political transformations take place.
