Descrição
Resumo:[EN] There is a thin line between design and art. Day a day that line is thinner, since both disciplines have an aesthetic vocation and there is a widespread aestheticization of everyday life. Therefore, it is increasingly difficult to distinguish between art and graphic design and know where ends one discipline and where begins another one. However, as Milton Glaser said Design and art are two distant issues . And this is exactly the intention of this thesis, define well each discipline and analyze the differences and similarities between art and graphic design. It has resorted to discourse and reflection of different artists and designers to clarify that distinction.
