Description
Summary:[EN] The Island of Capri was transformed into a meeting point for centereuropean intellectuals which admired Capri’s romantic scenaries and it’s traditional architectural ruins, due to the influence in the formation of european intellectuals of the Grand Tour, École des Beaux-Arts and the Gran Premio di Roma. If we study the graphic legacy of architects that traveled to Capri we can see an evolution in artistic sensibility of European architects from the xviii century romanticism to the European rationalization debates and the crystallization of paradigmatic works of modern movement
