Sumario:This paper presents the history of Poesia magazine, founded by Josep Palau i Fabre, which was the irst magazine written in Catalan after the Spanish Civil War. We analyze how, despite the clandestinity and, therefore, scarcity in which was organized and it was spread, the magazine ofered a high quality content that, as we shall see, is the basis of the aesthetic and literary ideas of its founder, Palau i Fabre
