| Resumo: | The transition from wired to wireless Battery Management Systems is becoming a real interest in the automotive market due to its numerous advantages like less weight, less space and easier battery assembly. The Ultra Wideband technology has proven to be a good candidate for the wireless communication channel over other wireless technologies. However, a wireless communication link requires the integration of robust security measures and data encryption protocols to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and authenticity of data. This project presents the adaptations in software and hardware required to transform a wired Battery Management System into a wireless one. The secure channel protocol for Ultra Wideband packets is defined, implemented and tested. |
