| Sumario: | [EN] The “Valle de los Caídos”, planned and given impulse by Franco, receives tens of thousands of remains of men (and some women) original from all the geography of the Spanish State in his interior. Remains exhumed of common graves and arrived in an individual or collective way to the big and imperishable franquist monument, accompanying the dictator in the eternal rest. In the present article he exposes the methodology that was followed at the end of the fifties to locate the places of burial, the common graves, of where the bone remains being dug up and how even the “Valle de los Caídos” being transferred, focusing especially on the transfers that were carried out in a first phase from the province of Madrid. Many of them were welded, to those that were named "Heroes"; others, the minority, were reprisal in the republican rear, named as "Mártires". Sometimes requested by the families; many other times without their knowledge, the crypts of “Cuelgamuros” kept being filled with individual and collective boxes not only of you present similar to the regime, but of many other remains of especially soldiers that had fought in the republican army. |
