| Sumario: | This article has as objective to explore the associated factors regarding school lag and dropout duringthe health crisis in basic education in Tlaxcala, Mexico. This research was carried out using a quantitativedescriptive methodology with analysis units associated to school dropout in the COVID-19 pandemiccontext. The information was obtained through an online survey applied to 840 teachers from all levelsand educational modalities. The results reflect a decrease in school enrollment and the difficulty to keepthe participation and communication with students, as well as an adverse socio-economic and socioemotionaleffect in most of the school population along with the limitations in arrangement and use ofeducational equipment and materials. |
