| Resumo: | Look beyond the circumstances surrounding the creation of a work of architecture, in this case that accompanied the arrival of modern architecture in Cali, can focus on important aspects such as space, formal changes with regard to the models, adaptation to climate and local conditions and generally examine the work to understand from it that the practice of going to foreign works of recognized architectural quality by magazines or direct knowledge were interpreted with such critically the results can be considered as genuine as the works from which they were served. Based on a first side of local works and clear external influences in the early fifties, the local architecture proved to be a particular adaptation of the two sources of influence, one from the north and the other south they did confluence in these good local examples. |
