| Sumario: | This article is part of the studies developed in a doctoral research - in progress - and its object of analysis is the pedagogical praxis of Makarenko and his conception of a new man developed in the work “Poema Pedagógico”. The article begins by facing the debate around the category of praxis, in order to provide some important conceptual elements that are not very common in this debate, such as, from the outset, the statement that praxis constitutes the main theoretical category of dialectical materialism; then, the Russian Revolution and the socio-historical scenario in which the Makkarenkian experience emerges are contextualized, highlighting, in particular, the data relating to the subjects with which the Ukrainian pedagogue will work; finally, the analysis of the Pedagogical Poem is undertaken in search of a more global understanding of Makarenko's pedagogical praxis and its contribution to the transformation of Soviet society. In this analysis, the concept of democracy stands out in the foreground, a striking element of the Makarenkian pedagogical experience; and the educational principle of work, an element inherited from the Marxist tradition and practiced in the particular scenario of the construction of Soviet society. Based on the understanding of Makarenko's rich practical experiences and theoretical contributions, this article consists, it is believed, in a contribution to the updating of transforming pedagogical perspectives. |
