La metodología consistió en la aplicación de veintiún cuestionarios y cinco entrevistas narrativas, que permitieron identificar, caracterizar y mapear quiénes son y qué hacen los egresados en este territorio. El marco teórico abarca tres ejes principales: Educación Rural, Vale do Jequitinhonha e investigación con egresados desde una perspectiva sociohistórica y territorial. A metodologia consistiu na aplicação de vinte e um questionários e cinco entrevistas narrativas, o que possibilitou identificar, caracterizar e mapear quem são e o que fazem os egressos nesse território. O referencial teórico abarca três eixos principais: Educação do Campo, Vale do Jequitinhonha e pesquisa com egressos sob uma ótica sócio-histórica e territorial. Como resultado da pesquisa, constatou-se diversidade de cargos, práticas e instituições ocupadas pelos egressos, o que subsidiou a criação de um mapa indicando e qualificando a espacialização e territorialização da luta pela terra a partir da atuação socioprofissional dos egressos em Minas Gerais.
