Descripción
Sumario:The text aims to analyze the constitution of the new corporate philanthropy, its configurations in capitalist society and how it was established in the field of special education. It is a bibliographic study, which sought as a basis historical and dialectical materialism, specifically the contributions of Gramsci, understanding that the category Integral State is essential for the debate on the relationship between public and private and philanthropy. As a methodological procedure, we sought to investigate the academic production in four databases and the constitution of the field of special education. The search was carried out in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of Capes, in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), in the Online Bookstore of Scientific Electronic in Brazil (Scielo) and in the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education (Anped), based on the entries: philanthropy, corporate philanthropy, new philanthropy and philanthropization. The study found that philanthropy and charity have been present in the field of special education in Brazil since its beginnings until today, even when covered by the discourse of special education policy from the perspective of inclusive education. Thus, philanthropy is a political, economic and ideological proposal to dissipate class struggle, harmonize society and maintain capital.
