Summary:Driven by the growing interest and expansion of franchising in Brazil, this study aims to investigate the performance and satisfaction of franchisees, from the point of view of the franchisee. To this end, a survey was carried out with the manager of 22 franchisees. Among other aspects, the results of the research revealed that the performance of the year is considered good, as expected, and most of the research participants are satisfied with their franchise. Also the performance showed positive and significant relation with some profile characteristics of the franchisee manager, however it is not related with franchisees’ satisfaction.
