Descripción
Sumario:This article intends to clarify the relationship between pluralism and immanence within William E. Connolly’s political theory in order to develop some philosophical implications regarding his theory of democracy. As the article contrasts Connolly’s perspective with the ones of Rawls, Habermas and Laclau, the article situates the contributions and eventual shortcomings of a political theory based on immanence regarding the challenges of contemporary pluralist democracies.
