| Sumario: | We intend to analyze here how some of the plays by Brazilian playwright Jorge Andrade were staged in Portugal in the 1960s. In 1963, the Círculo de Cultura Teatral, through its theater group Teatro Experimental of the city of Porto, staged A Moratória. In Lisbon, the Companhia Amélia Rey Colaço-Robles Monteiro would also stage two plays by the Brazilian playwright: in 1965, A Escada and, in 1967, Senhora da Boca do Lixo. |
