| Sumario: | : The aim of this paper is to reflect about the impact of positive actions in Argentina and how these decisions need to be interpreted if we want to take equality seriously. Therefore, first (I) I will focus on presenting different forms of equality and positive actions. Second (II), I look at the positive actions system in Argentina, specifically in public and electoral office positions. Then (III), I will focus on the problems that could arise from a law that regulates quota for women in private associations, specifically when this can imply limits to citizens (as private agents) actions. Thus, I will be able to reflect about this type of actions as an efficient tool to achieve real equality (IV). Finally, I postulate some conclusions. |
