Sumario:Considering the media and sport can create, reinforce, question and refute traditional gender roles, the article analyzes the news published by the Portal Olimpíadas UOL from August 5-21, 2016, about the work of the journalist Glenda Kozlowski (first woman has been assumed the role of sports narrator of Globo Television). From this, the article aims to understand whether these news contributed positively or negatively to the reflection on the participation of women in sports and sports journalism.
