Sumario:In this article, we argue that the Encyclopedia, as a work that reflects on its time, seeking to reason its knowledge and propose both a systematizing understanding of it and a procedure for its advancement, projects a methodological duplicity whose form is analytical and gradual. This duplicity is presented, on the one hand, as an internal tension that mirrors the epistemological conflicts of his time, while, on the other hand, showing a mutual recognition made possible by a common consciousness that precedes this tension on many levels.
