| Sumario: | It presents the logic that guided the systematization of the rarity criteria of the History of Sciences and Health Library for the treatment of its collection. Such work aims to identify what is valuable in your collection, especially in the bibliographic aspect and guidelines for bibliographic description detailing the characteristics existing in the specimen. The appropriation of this instrument will allow greater efficiency in bibliographic retrieval as well as the recording of memory, subsidies for the inclusion of items in preventive conservation projects, for the security of the collection, among other dimensions of the management of special collections. |
